High Risk Sick Notes Covid-19

The practice has been receiving a high number of emails and telephone calls from patients regarding the letters to patients at highest risk from coronavirus.

Some of these letters have been generated by central NHS services and have now been sent. GPs will be sending letters to the remaining at risk patients.

At present, we have not yet been informed who to send these letters to and are awaiting further guidance from NHS England. As soon as we receive this we will be informing patients as a matter of urgency.

Please note, due to the unprecedented demand on the health service at present, we are unable to provide individual letters for employers. Guidance for employers can be found via the NHS website.
